Wooden Packaging Materials: Pallets and Containers
At Hompil, we specialize in manufacturing pallets and containers for fresh produce and other food products such as canned and baked goods, as well as for sheet glass and other freight. Our facilities output large quantities of these packaging materials with very short lead times.
As an independent producer, Hompil has the capability of building pallets of any size with a lifting capacity of 500 kg to 2,000 kg. The pallets are assembled using pneumatic tools, sizing tables, and ring shank nails. This technology allows us to create containers with an increased durability and precise dimensions.
Our approach has enabled us to expand internationally: we now produce and sell packaging supplies for shipments and export sales.
Any buyer can order our exclusive service of custom logo printing on the sides of containers.
Lumber Roofing Materials
We sell all kinds of roofing lumber customized to the exact dimensions you need.
- Planed and unplaned lumber, two-edge cant and four-edge cant, bars for lags, rafters, pillars and mauerlat;
- Rough cut and finished cut lumber, finished and unfinished boards for roof sheathing, overhangs, and trusses.
One order may include lumber of different types and sizes. Whatever your needs, we will put together the order and deliver it to you!
We produce building materials from pine, spruce, aspen, oak, birch and alder.

Wood Treatment with Protective Substances
Along with custom sizing of our lumber, we offer the following services (where the order volume is above 15 cubic meters):
- Pressure drying treatment of the wood;
- Chemical bioprotective treatment with anti-fungal substances of proven quality.
Dried wood has a moisture content of no more than 12%. Treated lumber can last for a long time even in a high-humidity environment with frequent exposure to the elements. Treatment does not affect any of the material’s attributes, including its breathability, paintability, and strength.
Lumber Grades I, II, and III: boards, flitch, and firewood
Our company does retail and wholesale of boards that are rough cut and finished cut, treated and untreated, made from pine, aspen, and spruce. We also sell flitch and firewood as processing byproducts.
Lumber of grades II and III can be just as useful for construction as grade I lumber. They have excellent durability and are suitable for work where the wood’s appearance is not important. Our experts on staff can help you to select your order so that you can get the optimal amount of a variety of products without compromising the strength and durability of your future construction.
